Dakota Fanning, the new face of Marc Jacobs, is going to scare me to death. She, of all PEOPLE, the face of Marc Jacobs?! Marc, please be kidding.
She had a six-page spread in the October Teen Vogue, && you know, I HATED IT. She was posing like a model, but didn't have the grace of one. i don't know why everyone's obsessed with her all of a sudden (she was kind of whisper-whisper back then), she has zero modeling talent.
Dakota, honey, you have a dim sum bowl on your head.
The Marc ads will be in Febuary Issues of Vogue & W. If you don't want to risk seisures, steer clear.
The horrid ads were shot by Juergen Teller in Los Angeles in mid-november.
"Marc loves her as a character and thinks she is beautiful and a great actress," said Robert Duffy, president. "He loved the idea of having this young, small girl in the clothes, and we made them in her size to shoot her in."
hmm, what size, Robert? 5 in the children's department?

i think dakota is a really great young actress actually in wor of the worlds and the one with the horse (???), but pleasee Marc, how could you do this! i thought the spread was cute in October teenvogue, because the clothes were adorable, but honestly..shes 12

i sorry but dakota fanning always looks died. Please some1 send her conclear. Serouisly i will send her conclear. Marc, is out of his mind. But he still makes great cloths. And she looked awful at the teen vogue shoot. She looks like she's 8, not 12 or how-ever how old she is. Please Marc get your brain back.

dakota is a very good actress, but the model thing isnt working for her.
Give her a break, she's like, eleven. I agree that it's completely bizarre that Dakota Fanning is in an ad campaign for grown up clothes, but to be honest, I haven't been to impressed with Marc in recent days anyways.
It's not her fault, but I did not like her Teen Vogue spread either. I found it sad that the fashion coordinators dressed her in serious and blanned outfits. I was looking forward to a unique spread - after all, she is only young. I also disliked the way all the shots were overly posed, and the fact that she seemed sad =(
