Leopard Flats

Today, i went to Sunridge mall to do some last-minute Christmas shopping. I read this other blog that said that there were cute (and cheap) flats in Payless, so I went there. I own only one pair of flats, and they hurt more than my 4-inch wedges. So, I zapped to the fives section, and immidatly tried on some shoes.

American Eagle™ "Fiona" Ballet Flat

Pleather, $29.99 CDN, payless.

I wanted to get these ones, becuase I know that these would look amazing with skinnies, and pleather is "in" right now, but they were so unbreathable, and after admiring myself in the store's mirror for a few minutes, my feet started getting hot, so I decided that these wern't for me.

And then my mom showed me another pair of flats, they were the same brand, style, and price, but they were made out of a more breathable material, and is leopard print. An oh yes, they were as cute as the pleather ones. so I brought them. I love love love them.

Okay. Now that I've showed you some glamorous flats, let me rant.

one thing that irritates me- skinny jeans with skater shoes. You know, the kind of shoes where you can't hide it with the hem of your pants- you have to tuck them in? i seriously don't know what their thinking. Don't get me wrong- i'm not dissing their style or whatever, but skinny jeans are supposed to be worn with pumps, flats, ankle boots and others. Not skater shoes. i do not think that its appropriate. I know that my school isn't one of the we-only-wear-trainers-in-gym kind of place, but please, respect some fashion rules. Save your skater shoes for the boot cut. But, i think that if you wear your skinnies with smaller sneaker-trainers, like pumas, it will be comfortable, and also a little, tiny bit cute. its not the best choice ever, but at least you wont be the-ew-girl-with-the-skater-shoes.

Another that irratates me- select people in my class. They think their fashionable, but the only thing that is close to that is their 70 dollar TNA hoodies. I'm a fan of TNA, but I think their hoodies are way too plain worn alone. yet everyone's obsessed with them. This girl- she wore her black TNA hoodie with black old-navy kids jeans (that i also own but threw into my "unwanted" pile of clothes in my junkyard of a closet long ago). The only thing on her that was not black was the teeny-tiny TNA sign on her. She looked emo, but tons of people complemented her (not including me). I think people here should be more fashion-forward. Just because we can't catch the runway shows doesen't mean we can't be truly fashionable. I think that we really have to step out of the hoodies, and get your own life.

until next post,

Cee.

Hey! FYI never buy the patin leather ones. they kill and they r sooo uncomfortable. And if your shoes ever get uncomfortable wear a pair of white socks with them. And it's not tacky like wearing socks and sandles. Merry Chirstmasor Happy Holiday's!

Hey, Nice work, keep it up!
Just a quick thought, I noticed
in some of your posts when you
use the "&" symbol. you put 2
of them instead of one, kinda
distracting. You're doing good
though. Keep it up!
